Why are accurate appraisals important?
Accurate valuations help ensure appropriate insurance coverage, minimize over or under insurance, and strengthen overall risk preparedness. They form a solid foundation for schedules and risk data, improving mitigation and decision making.

- Specialized expertise in unique structures such as water and wastewater treatment plants and historical buildings
- We verify details in person by double checking measurements against prior data to keep values current and accurate
How often should property valuations be updated?
Best practice is every 3 to 5 years, with interim updates as your assets or needs change.
What experience does Centurisk have with public entities and risk pools?
Extensive national experience across schools, municipal buildings, water treatment plants, historical buildings, and more.
Can Centurisk help our organization with value trending?
Yes. We can build tiered appraisal plans so certain value thresholds are appraised while the rest are trended, covering 100 percent of total insurable value. We also offer the RiskStar Valuation Estimator, a custom tool configured to your organization that models replacement cost using multiple resources and modifiers. It is useful for benchmarking or updating values in years when there is no on site appraisal.
