When my boss stepped into a group leader role and began overseeing multiple businesses, I was lucky to become the leader of Centurisk. Because of the Volaris network and talent development programs, my learning curve was condensed, and I never felt and still don’t feel alone. I think there’s a saying “it’s lonely at the top.” Thankfully, that's not the case here. There are loads of people I can turn to for support tackling challenges and helping our business be successful for our employees and customers. It’s truly been great!

When I first interviewed at Centurisk, I asked ‘what’s the structure of the marketing department?’ After along pause the HR interviewer said “well…it’d be you.” It was not what I was expecting but I couldn’t be happier about joining the organization. I quickly learned that at a Volaris-owned business, it’s never just you. There were so many marketers from our sister companies available to brainstorm with and learn from. The network has to be one of my favorite things about working here. I am able to be so much more efficient, helping our business get better and better by leveraging the strength of the network. Best part- I’ve also made several life-long friends.

I’m fairly new to the team but had the opportunity to attend a Volaris-wide leadership event last year. To say it was inspirational is probably an understatement. At times it felt a bit like drinking from a fire hose, there was just so much to learn but it was great to meet people in roles similar to mine who could share ideas and provide inspiration for how I can help our customers better. The hard part was really picking what to do first!
